Consider donating to the Electronic Frontier Foundation! They give you stickers! I'm currently trying to install an EasyCap SMI Grabber on a Windows 7 Home Edition 64-bit PC: the first time I've plugged it into my PC, it was displayed as 'SM-USB 007', but the drivers provided into the CD bundled with the device weren't compatible with 64-bit versions of Windows 7, so the installation failed.
After that, I have uninstalled those drivers, unplugged the device, downloaded the 64-bit drivers, installed them and plugged the device back again. After that, it wasn't displayed as 'SM-USB 007' anymore, instead it was displayed as 'Unknown device'. Windows' device management tool doesn't display any information about it, and if I try to use the 'Update driver' function and try to install the correct drivers, it just doesn't work. The device does work, since I'm currently using it on another PC and everything went fine during the installation. Any hint or suggestion about what to do would be greatly appreciated.
